from Bob & Bev
Dream Catcher was an experience of a lifetime!! Bob being an experienced sailor, it was a first for Bev and was so excited and inspired by all of it we booked while on Dream Catcher to sail again in March of 2009! Our captain "Jean Pierre" was a first class Captain and never felt safer while on the water. Besides all of that we had an absolutely fabulous time and got engaged in the romantic setting of St.Maarten. Great food, great entertainment and be sure to get Jean Pierre to show you the sights in the evening! Can't wait to get back to St.Maarten in March and Jean Pierre has become a great friend, my mentor with scuba diving.....what else can we say. The food by the way was awesome!! The quality of the sailboat and the accommodations was far beyond our expections, the candle light dinners on deck were superb and the dingy rides with Jean Pierre ROCK!!

Thank you again for everything last week on our charter in the beautiful BVI's!! You are a great captain with so much knowledge and information and also a friend with a wonderful sense of humor! WE truly had the best vacation in our lives on the DreamCatcher!!! We can't wait to return and are thinking of sometime next spring/ early summer with some of our friends. They have seen our pictures and heard our stories of our life on the boat and are anxious to see for themselves.
"What a great time we had the past week sailing and diving on Dream Catcher with JP as our captain. JP is the best! He was relaxed and fun, while at the same time knowledgeable and took care of the little details, so we didn't have to. It was great to see St Maarten from the water and be able to dinghy into shore for lunch or dinner. In addition to great sailing on Dream Catcher, we got to do some diving off the French side of St Martin, while others went snorkeling. JP's local knowledge of shopping and eating places saved us a lot of time that was better spent sailing, eating and swimming."

"JP is the consummate captain. He is charming, delightful, entertaining, very intelligent, and has a great sense of humor. Most importantly, he is an extremely knowledgeable sailor with a high level of expertise and experience in navigation. He is very vigilant, constantly monitoring all of those factors which are important when sailing. All of us felt extremely safe with him and decided that having a captain who knew everything about everything was well worth the additional cost. We will NEVER do bareboat!! It was also a huge plus having a PADI certified instructor. We planned the broad brush of the itinerary at the beginning of the trip and tweaked some of the details each day, but pretty much relied on JP for specifics relative to scuba diving, snorkeling, and what to do where. We absolutely LOVED him!!!
The Dream Catcher is an AMAZING boat. It has so much deck space that no one ever felt the least bit cramped. I love the outdoor covered area--we didn't see any cats with that much covered space. Having access to the laptop to occasionally answer some e-mails while mooring was also a good thing. The boat is very fast, very stable, and very safe. Some of the group watched some DVD's at night--there is also a Play Station.
The itinerary was perfect--loved the sail across to Anegada and the beach there was so very beautiful. We rented a jeep/truck vehicle and JP drove us all around."

"There is nothing we would have changed about this trip. Jean-Pierre you were the perfect Captain," exclaimed Michelle in Dream Catcher's guest book, after raving about JP's ability to "adapt to all members of our party (all 3 generations)" and JP's "mastery of both sailing, diving and knowledge of the islands”.
